what is you favorite or most memorable carolina panther's game?
I'd have to say December 27th, 2009 or "yesterday" would have to go up in my top 5 panther games of all time. no one gave us a chance, and we demolished a good team in their own house. everytime you though reality would set in, it didnt. I dont remember a game this fun. 12/28/2009 5:12:22 PM |

I think the raping of the Giants yesterday has to be up there as well as last weeks simply for the novelty of playing Favre.
Although the Chargers Giants game may be the best game i've seen all season but that is for a different thread.

Yesterday's game ranks low because most people had already turned on their dont give a fuck switch for this season
To be a memorable game, it has to mean something besides playing spoiler for someone else
I don't have a favorite...I fucking hate the Panthers 12/28/2009 5:27:46 PM |

x-clown was the best play, but the foster run was the most awe-inspiring play
smith getting that TD was no mystery after the catch, but foster should have been tackled like 10 times before that arm-stretch 12/28/2009 5:31:17 PM |

I believe they lost that Packers game 30-13. I remember my mom saying that the Panthers shouldn't give up and it's not over till it's over. Then my aunt comes over to visit and without knowing what my mom had said, she goes "looks like this game is over, ready to go to the store?" haha 12/28/2009 6:04:53 PM |

Obviously the playoff wins were my favorite. Probably the Rams one being the best of the bunch, though the Philly one was great b/c I was in New Jersey most of that season and kept telling the Philly fans we'd smoke them.
As far as regular season goes a few stick out...
Beating the 49ers the first season. There was no way ANYONE thought we would do that. These guys were loaded like Steve Young, Jerry Rice, Ken Norton, Eric Davis loaded.
Beating the 49ers in '96 and the game against Pitt where we sealed the division I believe Cota had the game winning INT.
Sam Mills intercepting the pass to win our first game ever...
Beating the piss out of the Rams in '96
Some game in 1999 where we beat the hell out of someone, Jeffers caught a hail mary at the end of the first half... Pitt?
Beating the face off New Orleans that time Delhomme started and we almost made it in the playoffs off score differential...
Gotta be some ones Im missing but those were the seasons when i was too young to drink so the games stick out more 12/28/2009 7:38:23 PM |

First ever playoff win vs Cowboys in Charlotte...our two year old franchise beat a team that included Aikman, Ervin and Smith...players circled the field afterwards, just awesome.
Others on the list:
'96 vs 49ers most dont remember this heated NFC West rivalry. I think there were a bunch of unsportsman penalties on both sides
'03 vs Bucs where we blocked an extra point and a field goal (maybe two??)
'04 vs Rams (playoffs) with Smith running free for the TD at the end of OT
'04 vs Patriots (Super Bowl) to believe we were actually winning in the 4th quarter, incredible....
'05 playoffs? vs Giants just dominted in Giants Stadium (i THINK we shut them out) 12/28/2009 8:40:44 PM |

and the only team they beat during the 1-15 season was Minnesota and that was week 1 in Minnesota

i like when the panthers beat joe montana and the 49ers in 1995 ... since nokia stadium hadn't been built yet they had to play their home games at carter-finley over in durham. julius peppers sacked montana 3 times and jerry richardson scored his last receiving touchdown as a player that day 12/28/2009 11:40:24 PM |
