only happens to me in chrome...IE and FF seem to work fine. i'm guessing safari does it too.

firefox, chrome and safari insert at cursor now. IE7/8 is not cooperating and still inserts at the end. didn't test on opera yet so if either of you have problems, let me know.

the only thing left to do would be that when you highlight text and high a button it should put tags at the beginning and end

but it inserting at the cursor is a huge improvement

what if you're quoting a post that's already quoting someone? only insert the text of their actual response? also, doesn't this deter people from actually reading the rest of the thread? i foresee people seeing a post midway through a page and jumping on the quote/reply button before they even finish the rest of the thread to see if their idea has been covered


just playing devil's advocate here. i do hate nested quoting though.
