^ Jackson made it due the fact that he had good stats other than TDs on a horrible team that did not run much as it was always losing. Plus the RB crop in the NFC was weak this year with Turner & Westbrook being hurt, Barber sucking, Gore being inconsistent, Jacobs underachieving, etc.

What are you basing Randy Moss's snub on?? His rep. He really has not had a good season. During the pats v panthers game he looked like he was sleeping 1/2 the game while on the field.

He is leading the league in TDs. The only slip-up was the Panthers game...which I think cost him. He got a pretty bad rep after that game (he's had a bad rep before, but has been an altar boy since joining the Patriots) that I'm positive cost him the Pro-Bowl.

TDs are the biggest season to season variable in the NFL and they shouldn't be a huge factor in pro bowl voting

Tomlinson has been a bum all season but still has 12 scores because they force feed him near the goal line.

Welker is 10x more valuable than Moss in that offense, and Johnson and Wayne carry the load singlehandedly for their respective teams (tho Wayne gets help from Clark.)

You could make the argument that Moss should've gone over Marshall, especially since Marshall's high catch total is inflated with a bunch of bubble screens that are basically long handoffs. But I'd say Jackson over either of those guys.

Big difference between receiving TDs and rushing TDs. I think I read that Tomlinson has most or all of his rushing TDs in something like 52 yards rushing. Half the players in the league could have scored on his TD runs. Little bit harder to catch TDs from anywhere on the field than rush for them 3 yards and in.

And the rest of Moss' stats aren't exactly pedestrian. And he commands the double teams that allow Welker to go up against single coverage or soft spots in the zone when they shift towards Moss' side.

I'm not saying he should have made the Pro Bowl...but he's got a good argument.
