If they are announcing the winner the same way again then he wouldn't have known if he won the other yet...he would only know he lost if he wasn't in the final vote.

He did a really good job at the 19 finale of keeping it under wraps he was going again, I don't think we can judge anything by it since the producers probably told him he had to make it all about 19 otherwise he would get in some sort of trouble for it.

I'm still pulling for Russel from the Villains and Rupert from the Heroes. I hope they both at least make the merge.

There have been spoilers in the past, but never before have there been so many of them, and never before have they been so consistent in painting a clear picture of the boot order. The biggest factor to the spoilers this year is that everyone is already so well known, so if they post on their facebook page how they are going to be going on vacation for the next 3 months...That's a pretty good start at assuming that they're on the show. There's always the standard production crew leaks, and the "I saw such-and-such at the airport only 5 days after filming started", but the source of a lot of the information is still facebook and twitter. There's a lot of "this person from season 14 became friends with this person from season 6 on this date so that must mean they both got kicked out before the jury" and stuff like that. It's like putting together a puzzle for a lot of these people. I just wish that the info was a little bit harder to find. I was only trying to find out who was on the show, and I clicked on a link from google, and found out the entire order. Which doubly sucks, cause now I can't really contribute much to the discussion of the show without spoiling. Oh well, hopefully it still should be interesting to watch.

If that were the case then we would know the order every season and so far this is the first time that it's been widely "known" all the details. The question was asked if it was like this every season, and it hasn't been. So obviously you can't just use "it was filmed months ago" as much of a reason.

^^I was wondering the same thing since they haven't shown Russell looking for one, I thought he would be well on top of that by now.

^James is a jerk. He was absolutely right about the team failing to use one voice, and I thought his speech in the tent was pretty good, but he just kept railing about it and then wouldn't shut up at council. I feel like he would need to go next, except that the team needs his strength to win challenges.

Rupert also hit it dead on: Boston Rob is king of the puzzles. He's the reason the Villains won both challenges so far.

James is all about strength and doing tribe chores. He is not a good puzzle person. The problem in that tribe is they are divided already. Cirie and Candace are wildcards because they voted to get Steph out and pretty much left Tom and Colby flapping in the wind, but they could very easilty rejoin them and cause a tie at the next tribal and convince Amanda or Rupert to jump sides.

This is only the third episode, I don't think that's enough to say there's a norm.

Also, the game was more about balance and stability than strength. Most of them lost because they slipped.

Yeah, Tom may have been the only one to do the challenge with the greatest chance of success, he just charged right at Russ with a ton of momentum behind himself.

I thought the match with Rupert and Coach the Dragonslayer was so epic, I would love to see them duke it out in future challenges. Their personalities are also really dynamic, they would make for a great rivalry of some sort.

Rus and Boston Rob will also be interesting to watch as the game progresses, but I'm surprised at how Rus has been so quiet lately. Rus probably knows that his game-plan for this lot will have to be very different from his last time out since the level of competition is nowhere close to last season.

So far I'd give the season a 8/10, should be 6 or 7 but Amanda and Parvati each boost it up a point or so.... I <3 Amanda .

^^ Candice Woodcock is actually a friend of mine and she said that when she got booted from the other show she was on, they "held" her somewhere until filming was complete. i don't know if they still do that now.

it'll certainly be interesting. i don't think anyone on his tribe is gonna let him out of their sight, or at least they shouldn't. but that's easy for me to say since i've seen how he plays before, and none of them have.

i think it was smart of JT to get rid of cirie, although now he's kind of in an alliance against james, candice, amanda and rupert. i guess he could still have some sway over james though. i think i would've done the same thing if i were him. cirie is a serious mental threat. get that shit out of your tribe instead of people who are gonna help keep your tribe out of tribal council every few days.

Great move on JTs part in my mind, losing Colby would hurt more in challenges, and Tom hit it dead on when he said Cerie wraps the weak minded around her finger. Good call all around, Candice looked depressed, she knows she's probably next, because even James and Amanda were ready to boot her already.

haha one of my friends said he would've grabbed the note from boston rob, ran into the jungle, read and destroyed the note, went and found the idol, and then gone back to camp saying it was nothing. this guy has watched every season of survivor and thought that would work.

he's not playing with pushovers like he was last time. boston rob has everyone's respect and if he says russell is gone, he's gone.

he's going to need to find 4 people willing to trust him and remain on his side, and I just don't see that happening. Rob, Coach, Sandra, Tyson, and Courtney would all vote against him.

If he doesn't find the idol, he's gone for sure. So he better get it fast and make a deal to save himself.

Or just hope that the Villains win every challenge the rest of the way out.

I think that if the villains have to vote someone out, as long as russell causes sandra's name to come up then he'll be fine, coach isn't her biggest fan and tyson seemed to be emotionally receptive...
Did anyone else think Tyson was going to crack a wiseass comment after witnessing coach's cryfest? I was a little letdown.

i think this might go back to the fact that he isn't playing with pushovers this time. i think the people on the villains tribe would be more likely to suspect something a lot faster and ask what he was up to. i don't remember anyone doing that on samoa. of course, russell could probably think of some excuse to give them, but i don't think they'd buy it.
