I used to play these almost exclusively when I was younger, especially appreciated the realistic ones when I was actually going for my PPL.

haven't been in the game, so to speak, for years, what's out there now worth getting? I see Microsoft has released FSX but no Combat FS in a while

haven't seen a good PC comabt flight sim in awhile. Last good flight game i played was Ace Combat on PS2.

FSX and Xplane 9.

I'm partial to FSX though...been playing the flight sim series since the first one on floppy and I like the community and downloads/expansions for it.
