I expect lots of bad FT shooting and a 11 pt NC State loss. Tracy Smith will have 4 fouls with 10 minutes left to go in the game. Mays will suck ass and CJ Williams will continue to be useless.

other than beating GT, I dont really see anything on their schedule that looks so awesome ... losses to florida, ohio state, and maryland... only good win was GT, meh on Marquette.

They are very athletic and have good bigs. their 7 footer is going to eat ours for lunch (and maybe Smith too).

If Smith can get them into foul trouble, then we stand a chance. Otherwise, we get beat by 10+.

Maybe to you, it means "We'll be competive the majortiy of the game, even have a 10-pt lead w/ 10 minutes, then lose it in the last ten mins, particularly at the FT line."

And maybe that's why we can't come to an understanding on all the other areas we have difference in. Words and phrases mean different things to you than they do to most other people.

That way, even if we win I can say that I didn't specify at what point in the game, or even that the game was over.

What do you base that on? I know we're not going to beat everbody. Coming into the season, I knew it probably wasn't going to be a good season. Yeah, I'm predicting to win tonight, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see us lose. I like to be a bit optimisitic, even if I'm not very confident in our team.

I'm not necessarily upset when you bitch about losing a game. Your overall bitchiness, your whining, your flawed logic, your transitive comparisons, your man-crush, etc. etc. etc. is what i find irritating.

Oh, and just for the record, on the two games I've predicted this year, I was off 2 points on one final score, and picked the winner and the spread on the other.

Count me in the blind optimism crowd because I love NC State and will support them no matter what for the rest of my life. Nothing will stop me from thinking the Wolfpack can win on game day.

EDIT: Does anyone else get the feeling that Don Beebe would rather see the Wolfpack lose just so he can come on here and be right? I bet he's in garnet and gold right now just praying that State fucks this up.

I think FF kill us again here, probably come out strong take an early lead going into the half and then leave points on the board by missing layups and freethrows all second half which sounds awfully familiar. Still a winnable game though, as are pretty much all the games on our schedule, but we won't win many of them if we don't buckle down and make the easy baskets when they count.

I used to get mad when we lost games too, and I still get frustrated when we have teams come out and look like they don't care/don't play hard, but generally I'm much happier these days hanging out with friends and watching the Pack play win or lose.

uhhh, I'm pretty certain that predicting a win does not make you a better fan than someone who is predicting a loss. Especially given the facts that we've only won 4 games on the road in the ACC out of 25 tries.

I'll be ecstatic if we win at FSU tonight.
