^Yeah no shit. There were a BUNCH of people who said we will be better because McCauley, Fells, and Costner were Herb's garbage and that these were all Sid's guys....

I don't know that this team is any better than last year's yet, only the rest of the season will tell, but I almost hated watching us play last year when it seemed like nobody cared to be on the floor or give any effort. This year so far the W/Ls are about the same but the effort is much better most of the time so at least I enjoy watching the games.

So what your saying is that this year's team has produced the same result with more effort. Thus, this year's team produces less results per unit effort than last year's team. This is a good thing? It sounds sad to me.

The problem with this year's team is pretty simple:

1) We go through long stretches where we can't make our open shots. Javi and Wood were especially off last night. You can't win if your perimeter players can't make anything.

2) Our defense gives up too many open shots and doesn't force hardly any turnovers. Last night, the open shots were the result of us double, even triple-teaming Landesburg when he got into the lane. His teammates made us pay.

The first problem is on the players. Sure, Sid could possibly get a little more motion/screens/etc going on, but our offense is producing plenty of good looks. The second problem is on Lowe (although having more athleticism would help some). Our defense isn't awful, but our lack of offense is making our defensive woes look even worse.

agreed. May have the same end result, but at least I don't have to watch cheeseburgers loaf around the court every fucking game. I don't think I have ever disliked an NCState player in any sport as much as that waste of talent.

guize guice guiz, so get this i had this dream last night that we drove les robinson out of town and we picked up thiS CRRAAZZY PRINCETON OFFENSE coache who made us run every shot clock out with >10 passes per possession. IT WAS A NIGHTMAREE!!! and then after he finally proved he couldn't get shit done in the ACC realistically with this crazy style he hit the road and went out west somewhere ssooooo, get this, this is where it gets good.. we bring back LIKE ALL THESE GUYS FROM OUR CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS to coach, but not David Thompson.. ha, that would be hilarious. No we brought back Towe and Lowe, wierd huh? Except for some reason nothing much really changed! Bottom of the ACC more years than not!

I'll be surprised if we only lose 13 games this year. I really do not see us winning again in the regular season and then we'll likely lose our only ACC tourney game. 15 losses =
