I think Ford really stepped it up and started producing good vehicles. Toyota is still producing great cars, but dumbasses don't notice that their floor mats crept forward and blocked the pedal. Honda is rock solid like always. I won't buy a Government Motors product. Honda is rock solid like always, but the new Accord and specifically the new TL looks retarded. Hyundai is still a car I wouldn't own, the Genesis grill looks stupid.

Land Rover products are nice looking pos's, I wish they could produce a quality product because I love their interiors. Lexus is still the business of making nice applicances. Audi's still have reliability problems and command poor resale. BMW went more complicated, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to own one of their turbo cars outside of a warranty. At least they're making attractive cars again. There's a black 2010 335i in my parking lot that I look at everyday (like the hood). I think Mercedes went back to its roots with the new C Class, but time will tell as they age. I think they look good.

I think the winners at the turn of the decade are Ford and Mercedes. I regret that some neat car companies won't survive the latest economic wave. Toyota is still winning the most but man they make ugly cars.

Porsche should probably be on the list for continually building rock solid automobiles.

Hyundai and Kia jump to the top of my list because they publish their service manuals online.

They're all trash though. Every car on the road today is 20 years behind where the state of the industry should be.

Porche does not make enough variety of cars to be considered
thats like saying some backup qb that went in for one play of a whole season and had a completion is the QB of the year

as far as toyota i hope you dont believe the floor mat story, it has been proven that it is not their floor mats, unfortunately i think it points to a drop in quality as they have continued to expand production
i personally will not buy toyota until they get this problem fixed for real, and not make up excuses

Land rover, like it or not, is a good vehicle with above average resale value
ford and chevy have come a long way
the list is final, no unsanctioned lists shall be formed

Goddamn son, what are you smoking?

Sure, all the parts that fall off are of the finest British quality, but they still fall off.

Finishing at the top of JD Power's list year after year would strike me as a good qualification. Though I'm not sure why I'm bothering to argue with the OP.

My BMW has been at the dealer for the last week, three weeks of the last 2 months its been there. Reliability is not one of their strong points with the turbo cars.

^Yea, I predict turbo e90s will have poor resale when the warranties start running out after 4 years.
