I guess I'm not clear on that statement.

I signed up for the beta a long time ago. Do you have to log into your bnet account to see if you got it or have they already sent out beta emails and if you didn't get one you're SOL?

No beta emails yet. That's a screenshot from the Battlenet preview put up on the main sc2 website today

My graphics card is just outside of the minimum recommended specs by Blizz. Other than that I think it would run it OK. Still, it's time for a new one anyways. It would be nice to play this game on max settings!

Yeah I dunno, I think for the first batch of invites they'll go for people with the most powerful/most compatible systems and fastest internet connections. They want people who can actually play the game without a hitch to discover imbalances and other game play issues. Later on they'll open it up to an older and more diverse group of systems.

Just played my first game. Did it as a novice cause im scared of getting owned by koreans. TvT and he just turtled. Ravens + banshees fucking rule for breaking that shit.

The guy had a bunch of siege and marines on his ramp so everything i sent up got rocked. He also had turrets set up around his parameter. I had my ravens go in and use their drone thingy to shot down all the turret missiles. THen my banshees killed the turrets. After that he didn't have any detectors so my banshees cloaked and killed his siege tanks and bunkers. Then i ran some thors up the ramp and it was over.

Im really really really fucking bad at RTS games cause normally all i do is turtle and im terrible at managing a bunch of differnt units at once, so it felt good to stomp on someone who looked like he was maybe an actual novice. Cant wait till i start facing non-novice opponents and get constantly rocked myself.

The music is pretty awesome. It's so different for each race.

So far I've been playing Protoss the most. There are so many ways to get into someones base with Protoss it almost seems unfair. My first game against another person was Terran and he put 6 seige tanks behind the rock barrier in front of his base but it didn't matter because I never had to go in that way. The Colossus just walk up the hill on the side of the base and the Stalkers can blink up the terrain. Not to mention I can use a Warp Prism to create a Pylon Field and just teleport in whatever units I want from 20 Warpgates.
