At least it's only 1 AA team this year so 6 Ws gets a bowl.

Plus, Miami seems like a decent match up for O'Brien. He seems to do well against guys that are 3 parts recruiter, 1 part coach (Davis, Shannon in the past).

Still, can't complain about the schedule all that much. Cincy and ECU both lost their coaches and a lot of players. Central Florida should be easier than either DivI OOC game we played last year, though we did lose to them in TOBs first year. The ACC is the ACC. We lost to Duke last year so I'm not going to complain too much about missing them

I think people are way too down on the fball team. We're bad to mediocre, not the new Duke. Expect a frustrating season but not a complete meltdown. Regardless, I still expect to be disappointed with the overall results

there is no way in hell that we will have 17 season ending injuries again this year. i think if we had nate irving last year we would have wont at least two more games. he left a huge hole to fill. and this year, we will have depth in the secondary. im saying 7 wins. DONT ASK ME WHICH 7.

even though our defense will likely suck, its good to see a schedule taht at least gives us a chance to move up in the rankings if we somehow beat these good teams. We could be top 5 after oct2 with that schedule.

I much rather lose by 20 to cincy than beat william and mary by 40. o and that cincy qb was right up there with pike. they were neck and neck. colleras is fast and can throw. we will get shat on by that offense. hopefully wilson can outgun them.

gt just comes down to stopping the option. at least our shitty pass d won't really come into play for that one.

vt just comes down to not turning the ball over which we are fully capable of. fsu is probably a loss unc this time around is probably a loss as well. they bring back 18 starters none of which have ever beaten us.

imagine us winning the first five games and being ranked like 5. we would almost certainly get our asses kicked by ecu and lose out the season to not make a bowl. i could see that kind of ncstate shit happening.

I think this will be overlooked. Look at our home games that are not on a thursday.

For everyone thats not in the immediate triangle area, Thursday games require alot of investment (vacation days) on top of the time and money it takes to travel and tailgate in raleigh. And we have 2 out of 6 home games on Thursday! Granted they are big games for the people that do go.

And the 4 normal homes games are laughable. I dont really care about VT(we will get destroyed), Wake, WC, or BC.

Tickets purchaeses this year will be way down.

The only fix for this if we some how start winning a ton of games.

Therefor, I will not be buying season tickets when I get the request. I will send a rather lengthy reponse of “Fire Fowler” in the return letter.

That schedule looks painful. It'll be nice to start off with a win, but after that it becomes a gauntlet pretty quickly (don't sleep on UCF, O'Leary's done a solid job down there although if his pattern holds this will be the "down" season).

The thursday night games will be nice, they always are and hopefully the team can put on a good show for the nation watching.

Still, looking at that schedule just kinda hurts.

Here's hoping Cincy doesn't figure out how to play under their new coach until the middle of the season.
