LOL wut.

This list is absolutely terrible. If you can't even name 100 metal vocalists you shouldn't be putting together a list of the top 100.

not at all, especially not when termed as "vocalist" vs say "singer". Even then, assuming you're referring to singing, try and tell me someone like Mikael Åkerfeldt or Ronnie James Dio can't sing with the best of them.

^ Haha, the first thing I did when I opened this thread was Ctrl+F: "Dani". Pitch-perfect shrieking ftw.

Also, they lost all vestige of credibility when they completely omitted Mike Patton, Tarja Turunen, and Liv Kristine Espenæs. Just noticed that Glen Danzig is missing, too. I would also put Mikael Akerfeldt, and probably Vincent Cavanagh from Anathema.

[Edited on February 17, 2010 at 12:00 PM. Reason : Chris Barnes from Cannibal Corpse and Six Feet Under, maybe?]

Definitions of Metal are way skewed ITT, and in the list.

Rock Vocalists would probably be a better tag.

and that being the case, Cornell and Rodgers are too high, Axl Rose and Sebastian Bach are too low, and Freddie Mercury deserves Steven Tyler's spot, and vice versa. Maynard should also be higher... but Hendrix, as much as I love him as a guitar player, doesn't deserve to be on this list.
