trolling isn't necessarily a suspendable offense. nor would i say (from what i've seen) that this guy is actually trolling.

tell me how to quantify the value of a user's contribution. what is the minimum required contribution level for a user's continued acceptance on the site?

i'm always open to discussion on the topic, but imo, tww is a platform for conversation. moderation is best left for situations when people are being intentionally disruptive to the community in general. most of the time, trolling is best dealt with by ignoring them and they go away. moderation is an option, but most of the time it just results in people getting butthurt and trying to find ways back in, which just wastes my and other mods time.
