I've been having issues with lots of sites not loading properly lately, and I'm seeing all sorts of weird errors I've never seen before.

vimeo, facebook, nytimes


anyone else having issues like this?

meanwhile the goog has a bad rep of failing spectacularly when it does fail

8.8.8.8 is google

4.2.2.2 is Verizon/GTE and in 7 years I don't think I've ever had a problem with it.
