What songs or music videos do you like yet dislike?

I think "Running Down a Dream" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is my biggest one. I dig the song, and I like the animation in the video, but something about the bookend bits with Tom Petty in that stupid hat and that stupid book rubs me the wrong way.

"The Unforgiven" by Metallica is the same way. The song is awesome for the most part, but listening to it makes me feel like there was some awesome part the whole thing is building up to that never comes to fruition. The video is pretty boring yet mildly unsettling—something is off about the way skin looks in black and white when it deforms.

How about you?

I'm disregarding videos because I haven't watched more than probably 10 of them in the past 10 years.

As far as songs...5 off the top of my head

"Oh Sherrie" I love most of the time...but sometimes I'll turn it on and just want to find Steve Perry and poke his eyes out

"Boys of Summer"...I love the ominous intro and verses, but I hate the sunny good-time chorus...I usually listen to the intro and first verse and then go to the next song

"Puttin' on the Ritz" is good 9 times out of 10, but that tenth time I just shake my head like "Taco, Taco, Taco"

"Anything for Love" is great, but the intro is just a bit too long, and sometimes I get impatient and skip ahead

"Thug Luv" is an alltimer, but Bizzy doesn't deliver with his verse; I feel he mailed it in while everyone else came with their A-game
