man i wish they were still a band.

i still listen to them pretty regularly (never stopped really), and i recently got my gf into them and she was v disappointed to find out they no longer play together.

they used to be so much fun to go see. tons of energy and good setlists.

Cast Iron Filter is awesome. I met a couple of them years and years ago through a much older mutual friend who attended Davidson with them. I have a few ratty old scratched up CDs that I still listen to off and on, would love to be able to get some clean copies of their stuff.

Cast Iron Filter's last official show was played at The Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, NC on December 31, 2004. not raleigh, but close
