^it comes with your 1st magazine

You won't get the 1st one for 8 weeks but the price is unbeatable.

oh my god. ive gotten free ESPN insider since 2001 because I used to write some fantasy sports article for ESPN... about two months ago I got purged from the system I guess and my insider no longer works. Also my subscription to the magazine ended.

I almost paid the full price the other day to resubscribe, i woulda died when i saw this thread haha sweet.

I got this deal like a year and a half ago. ESPN will try and trick you into renewing at full price every year though. You will get an email that your Insider access is expiring and you need to renew. You have to call and tell them that you still have the magazine subscription.

I was paying the 6.99 monthly fee for years. I lived near DC and ate at the ESPN zone for lunch several times a month and I guess I always figured it was just a charge from there. When I moved to Raleigh for school and it was still appearing, I put two and two together and realized I had been getting proper fucked for some time.

I have a very low opinion of that establishment. Mostly stemming from them claiming there was a 45 minute wait and me having to bitch at 3 separate people about the 5 empty tables right beside the tv I needed to watch.

the code is on the address label of each issue, not just the first.

had it for years, its ok, but can be annoying as shit. For the last 2 years or so I read the Final Word page in the back, and then sports capsule pages right before that... I dont think I have read anything in the front of it in over a year

This is awesome. How do you get the three years? I'm assuming you set the quantity to "3", but that makes it seem like you're getting three magazines, not three years. Yes, I know, dumb question, but want to make sure.

Yeah, I'm not really worried about the magazine. The ESPN insider at $12 for three years is worth it to me.

Print magazines only have a place in waiting rooms and airports. Even the bathroom, the former holy grail of magazine reading, has been been trumped by the advent of the smart phone. Angry Birds beats week old news everytime.

agreed.... i found these piling up. The articles were never as good or in depth as SI and alot of the stories had a "who gives a shit" factor. They worship all things Big East as far as bball and rarely cover ACC games. Only reason i kept it was for the insider ID

I doubt most people here actually got the magazine to read. I got it for the 4 year subscription to ESPN Insider for only $13.
