I'm leaning toward Castrol Syntec since that's what I got on my last oil change, but $7 a quart at Advance seems pricey when you consider I need 5 quarts... does Wal-Mart or someplace else have synthetic for significantly less? Maybe in 5-qt jugs? 4/1/2010 2:28:11 PM |

go to Wal-mart, and to hell with Castrol. Throw some Mobil One into your ride. 4/1/2010 11:55:57 PM |

I usually grab synthetic oil from wal-mart.
And either get filters from Advance or Amazon.com. 4/2/2010 11:09:55 AM |

get the oil change special at autozone. when it's running, it comes with 5 quarts of syntec and a k&n filter for 25 or 30. you can return the filter later (with no receipt) for ~$15 of store credit and get other stuff. $2 per quart at the most.4/2/2010 11:55:21 PM |
