Everywhere I've been today, everyone has been wearing Red Sox shirts... even people at work (Lowe's, the grocery store, etc.)

Screw both of these teams

HOWEVAH

I will be watching to see what my fantasy players like V-Mart, Beltre and Jonathan "Butt Mouth" Papelbon can do

Yeah the new score thing looks pretty shitty. I forgot that Sunday night baseball is now Steve Phillips-less after his sex scandal thing. Loller. Hated that douche.

Red Sox aren't going to be great this year. Their lineup, especially if Ortiz continues to regress, is not nearly as strong as it has been and their bullpen is garbage aside from Papelbon.

Yankees should win 110, no joke... that rotation is easily the best since the heyday of the Braves.

I know the yankees got better in the offseason, but no way are they going to win 110 games in that division this year. If they were in the central or west, then I could see it happening as they undoubtedly have the lineup and pitching staff to make it happen.

The Red Sox need a few guys to step up if they want to do well this year. Buccholz, Beltre, and V.Martinez need to all have big years. I think the bullpen is one of the stronger areas of the team with Bard, R.Ramirez, Okajima and Papelbon all there. Papelbon worries me the most of any of those guys though, he really fell off last year.

He's been there for years. Every single game for the last at least 7 or so years. He's the CEO for Giant Glass who advertise a lot at Fenway.

It was amazing to see how much smaller A-Rod's upper body was without steroids.

It looked like he lost 30-40lbs.

i don't mind it, i kinda wish they had kept it as a bar across the top.

as far as the animation and colors go I like it, and the BSO count is a little different but I don't mind that either.

Free preview of the Extra Innings package on Time Warner

word of advice though...if you're going to buy the whole package, do it during the preview...if you wait til the preview is over you pay like $30 extra

Oh yeah, Konerko caught the ball barehanded."

Awesome opening day for the Rangers

No hit through the 6th they tied the game at 3 in the 7th, let a run score in the 8th, then scored the game tying and winning runs in the bottom of the 9th.

Nah, Jones was pretty good last year. He put up very solid stats in the limited number of games he played after being called up. Shelton was some nobody that burst out and hit 10 HRs in like 15 games without any pedigree to back up that type of performance. Jones showed last year that he has 30 HR potential assuming he continues to get better and develop some plate discipline.
