Long story short if you have a 95-97 honda (accord, civic, odyssey, prelude, etc...) you can get a free tune up at any Honda dearlership. I found this court order yesterday researching a speedometer problem for my Accord. I already confirmed it with the Honda in Cary and taking my car in on Tuesday to get it fixed and get a free tune up.
here's the short version of the court order; http://www.epa.gov/otaq/cert/recall/fr33394.htm
here's the full Decree; http://www.epa.gov/compliance/resources/decrees/civil/caa/amerhonda-cd.pdf
If this is something yall already know, my bad but i thought i would share this find. 4/10/2010 3:12:45 PM |

If you have a 95-97 Honda, and you have less than 150k miles (Unless it's an NSX maaaaybe).... you're doing it wrong 4/11/2010 11:50:26 AM |

it says 14 years OR 150K miles so if you have a 97 like me, you can still bring it in 4/11/2010 5:41:57 PM |

*update* I got my car back yesterday. i pretty much got what Seotaji said; spark plugs, oil/filter change, new ignition kit, and a 'scan' - whatever that means. they found some stuff that "needs" to be change out but wasn't covered by the warranty as expected. Drove out of there without having to pay them anything 4/15/2010 8:42:05 AM |
