Well I finally dropped the money on this software and it is really amazing what it can do. It has 4 different ways of displaying 3D movies including the NVIDIA StereoVision, 3DTVs, ATI 3D, etc.

It really does make old movies look semi-HD and the feature set is amazing.

I recommend this to any serious PC movie watcher, rather it be HTPC or just a large PC Monitor.

Anyone else using this software? PM me for more info.

Not that I am interested in this particular software (looks cool though) but I have always wondered....where does one get 3d glasses? I've seen several games on the iPad that support 3D, and now this shit. I haven't seen a pair of 3d glasses in my cereal box in at least a decade so I've exhausted my resources!

there are many types of 3D glasses and some are still the old style with two color like you used in a Science Center. These are the glasses that come with movies like Coraline in 3D and you get 4 with the movie.

however some new technologies are doing away with the glasses and PowerDVD 10 Ultra is the first to support all 4 types of 3D playback. However many of these technologies are very expensive and use things like 120hz panel with shuttering lenses. 3D is the new HD

I thought I read about a glasses-less 3D tv being developed or new to market?

they are pretty new, but software like PowerDVD 10 prides itself on staying with the bleeding edge.
