Disney World owns the Orange County government. Always have. They picked a rural area, bought all the land, then elected Disney employees to all government positions. Disney even wrote the building codes.

So the high posting useless ppl r confused? Wat do: call you school friends that work for Orgs that stand to benefit from a major clean up at Disney and let them know. Who benefits? Teh Environment, the real florida, Gator World, Florida Splendid China, etc. (Engineering firms, duh!) There not going be any leadership to be had in government on this issue, we got to do it ourselves. Gov't getting hores and yacht rides and monies. Govt already taking monies and planning pork projects for it that basically put it back in the hands of the same vestors that doled it out. U likeing aquifer, u got to act on this. Report in if u getting any traction anywhere, Real muscle going come from some firm in a strong position to win a bid on the clean up or maybe some enviro group. I already made a call to a friend at CDM I not heard back yet.

Adding an order of magnitude means multiplying by multiples of 10. He was right about what he said (but only if estimating or trying to get a rough answer).

He said you compute in orders of magnitude only. And that is false. Because the coefficients can change the order of magnitude in the final answer.

Only in your final answer does the final coefficient sometimes become irrelevant. In computing the final answer, the coefficients of what you are multiplying/dividing can make a big difference.

(3*10^2) * (4*10^2) = 12*10^4 = 1.2 *10^5......look at that, my coefficients changed the final order of magnitude.

If you ignore the coefficients in computing the answer, then you get 10^4, and you are off by a factor of 10.
