yes, i watched it

it was on one of the mediocre movie channels one day

it was woefully bad, and not in an enjoyable way

but it's only an hour long without the gag reel

Master of Disguise was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Saw it in the theater without knowing anything about it beforehand. Wow, when I think about it, it may in fact be the worst movie I've ever seen. The new King Kong movie, Godzilla, The Watchmen, Swimfan, and the new starwars movies are all pretty high on the bad list for me though.

Vincent Chase almost doing Bengie. Would have been a terrible children's film.

The rock is a terrible actor.. not even close to being considered good. The only time he's ever 'surprised' me in a role was when he didn't fuck up and laugh in that brian fellow skit on snl.

^^ No. The begining was slow, the middle was like they gave an overblown movie budget to a bunch of 'high' college students and said "Have fun", and I really don't remember much about the end.

You can certainly argue that The Rock isn't a terrible actor, but I think you'd have a hard time arguing he's a good actor considering he really hasn't played anything but extremely minor variations on his stock character.

^Exactly. I've never seen him in a film that was legitimate acting even, in the sense that people say bad acting or a lack of character acting is no acting, but whatever. I don't know, he makes Vin Diesel look like a master of the arts, so I don't take him very seriously.

the rock is way better than vin diesel. by quite a bit. at least he's surprisingly good at playing that same character over and over.

I know I'll get flamed for even mentioning this, but does ten years of solid, entertaining work on live television count as good acting or good public speaking?

On top of that, the whole movie they're talking about going to the big toy fair. A pivotal plot point occurs at the toy fair that they talk about later in the film. They have cuts from the toy fair on the outtakes. BUT THE TOY FAIR SCENES AREN'T IN THE FILM ITSELF.

Flame me for this....but I think Brendan Fraser is a damn good actor.

School Ties, With Honors, and Gods and Monsters. I thought he was great in Crash as well.

I saw an interview he gave about 5 years ago that says he loves to make movies that his kids can see him in. I'm not going to fault a guy just because he's in a bunch of shitty movies. I can remember when he did some great acting jobs in some really good movies.

The only time I've enjoyed a Brendan Fraser performance was when he was wheezing the juice with Pauly Shore and recording 27 strikeouts on 81 pitches against the St Louis Cardinals.
