saw Black Skies and Music Hates You last night really really really sick show. Now that i think about it theres a shit ton of ladies playin the stoner metal. Caltrop is playing tomorrow night at the dive bar fo free! If you remotely like this kind of stuff Caltrop is the fucking jam.

These bands all have played at free for divebar (some 2 or 3 times this year already) go see them. At local 506 or the nightlight its usually $7 bucks for 3 or 4 awesome bands.

Its at the casbah in durham. If you can make systems at 6 on next Friday id go. It may be their last show. Sat night is caltrop. Buzzoven, weedeater,asg and cough are all playing there next month


We don't know who were opening for but it would be awesome if it was caltrop. They're recording and not really touring right now. Also they haven't played at divebar since last spring

actually their myspace tunes don't sound that great compared to their live sound, there is a certain low borderline brown note frequency that for some reason can't be recorded in the studio making all these bands sound shitty on albums/mp3s
