Broken Lizard is to comedy troops what Vince Vaughn is to comedic actors. Struck gold early and, instead of striking while the iron was hot, have pissed it away on some meh-to-shit movies (ex. Club Dread, Fred Claus, Dukes of Hazzard, Couples Retreat). Slammin Salmon was alright, but they are alot funnier than this, IMO. Michael Clark Duncan was gold but that was about it. They need a Super Troopers 2 or Potfest.

^How do Wedding Crashers and Swingers both fit into that equation? Both great movies, both showcased Vaughn's comedic talents, but they were almost a decade apart.

Exactly. His stock was way up after Swingers, which he followed up w/ The Lost World, a remake of Psycho, and The Cell. But I was referring to his hot streak of Old School, Dodgeball, & Wedding Crashers. Since then, we've gotten absolute mediocrity from the guy: The Break-Up, Fred Claus, Four Xmases, & Couples Retreat. I mean he's phoned in every fuckin' one of them.

saw it on comedy central. thought it was almost the same quality as those straight to dvd american pie films. they have a couple moments worth laughing at, but mostly trash and a waste of time. I guess you guys that like it are the reason they keep making shitty movies like this, though

no. obviously my tastes vary from others' and there must be enough 'others' that making films like this is profitable. just saying you guys are proof positive that while there may be a good number of people that think this movie and the ones like it are god awful, there are people even in this thread that think to the contrary.
