Season premiere was last night. I'm a fan of Ali and I really hope this works out for her.

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in the 25 guys picked for the show. They don't seem to be quite up to par with previous seasons, but perhaps the crop is different because they (supposedly) pick these guys based on their potential as a match for Ali, and she's different from previous bachelorettes.

A few comments about Ep. 1...
- Derrick (aka "Shooter")--What a loser! The story about his nickname was (a) TMI for a first conversation, (b) classless, (c) not good self-advertising when you're hoping to become a husband/lover, and (d) downright stupid because now every girl who watches this show knows his 'secret'....good luck finding a girl now!
- Craig M. (the one with the candy cane tie)--Can't stand the guy's hair or personality. And he looks sort of like a Patrick-Dempsy-wanna-be.
- Kasey--I thought he seemed like a nice guy, but from the sneak-peeks it looks like he turns out to be crazy/obsessive/suicidal?
- Derek (light gray suit)--Something about this guy creeps me out...
- Frank--I think he might not be ready for marriage. Seems he's still trying to figure himself out (or at least his career).
- Roberto--Really like him so far!
- Hunter--IMO, he seems a little too goofy for Ali...
- Justin (wrestler)--Glad she gave him a chance despite the guys' votes.
- Johnathan (weatherman)--Something about him also creeps me out. Maybe he's too cheesy? Also, he sort of looks like Tom Cruise and Peter Facinelli had a baby.
- Kyle (outdoorsman)--Seemed like a nice guy, but not a good match for Ali.

I don't watch this show but I watched it out of boredom yesterday on Hulu. I'm glad Roberto got the "first impression" rose, he seems like a genuinely nice guy. Rated-R seems like he's not even really feeling Ali, he may be there for the right reason, but it does not look like a connection was made to me.

i just read pages and pages of spoilers for the entire season of the Bachelorette. OMG. i know all the drama, i know who gets eliminated each week, and i know who the very dramatic Final 2 are. but i'm still gonna watch it every week, haha.

but i won't spoil it for you unless you ask (or Google it for yourself and read RealitySteve's website).

I'm kinda curious about what happens to that one guy (Kasey?), where they had the ambulance and all and then they show him with bandages on his wrist (really hope that didn't happen in this week's episode, because I haven't watched it yet, about to watch it on hulu)
