It's premiering July 8th. I can't wait. This is seriously the best show that still comes on television.

does big brother really have a lot of spoilers? i mean it's the same every year. the hot girl, the jock guy, the nerd, the outcast, the black one, a handful of generic people to round out the cast, and the wild card. shit, that's the line up for almost every reality show and it almost always turns out the same way.

some people in the past on tww have paid for the 24 hour live feed to the cameras in the house. They get to watch the competitions etc. that are pre-taped between episodes. then they post what they saw here and it ruins the live episode

I really don't feel like getting into a mambagrl-esque argument here, but simply put, you're wrong. No spoilers were ever put without warnings, and no episodes were ever "ruined" for anyone as was stated. The worry over the potential of being spoiled was always far greater than the amount of actual spoiling going on.

FWIW, I've been caring less and less about this show as the years have gone by and this year I don't really imagine I'll even bother to watch it regularly if it's as boring as the last couple of seasons, so I probably won't be posting much, spoilers or otherwise.

You're missing my point. There may have been some very mild spoilers discussed, but to say that they "ruined the live show" for people is just absurd. People whining about spoilers has always been way more annoying than what's been posted anyway. Especially the "pre-whining" that started in the first post and spilled over into the thread title that I have to see every time I may want to discuss the show.

Besides, I don't see how you could be a Big Brother fan and only watch the show and not pay some attention to the feeds/what's actually going on in the house. The show only shows like 2% of the stuff that actually happens and even then it's so heavily edited it's ridiculous. If all you're doing is watching the show, you're really missing out on most of the good stuff anyway. And I'm not just talking about knowing who wins the competitions 2-3 days early.

I do keep up with the live feeds to a certain extent, I would just prefer not to know the outcome of competitions beforehand because I lose some excitement when watching the live show.

And there were competition results that have been spoiled before. Just because you didn't think it was annoying, doesn't mean that others didn't.

If you don't like it, start your own damn thread.

okay, maybe saying the spoilers "ruined the live show" was a little much. I was just trying to get the point across of why the thread is labelled "no spoilers".

I personally like to see what the people who watch the live feed post, because like you said we miss a lot of what actually happens if we only watch what is aired on tv. If that means I get "spoiled" from time to time, so be it.

i read there is a "saboteur" and america can vote on what they do....

they really need to do more stuff like this to spice it up because it is getting stale...

and i also HATE how the nominations and the veto ceremonies are always so cookie cutter and fake-acting... it is almost like they give the contestants a script to read from or a template and the contestants have to follow that format.. and then veto fake out... I choose to veto...dum da dum....nobody and then the dramatic shutting of the veto box.

i'm looking forward to this show again. i have been a long time casual watcher of the show (no live feeds, just the aired show) and still find the show entertaining.

i would also like to add that i thought tww did a pretty good job, for the last 3-4 seasons at least, without spoiling the show for me. most spoilers were well noted, and it was my choice if i wanted to look.

Yeah, the UK version is pretty much so superior to the US version in every single way, except for that whole public voting thing. I do like the fact that the US version is a competition and not just a popularity contest. That being said, the US version could borrow a ton of ideas from the UK version to make it much better.

Not too bad of a first episode. Nothing wonderful, but it big brother, so it was about par for the course. I like the cast so far. I under estimated the amount of titties in the house. Kudos on the boobs. The "saboteur" is a welcome change, hopefully it will make it a little more interesting for awhile & they won't find out who it is so soon. Already people are wigging out trying to figure out who it is.

I'll keep watching b/c there is nothing else on this summer really

I think the saboteur is:














either Monet (black chick) or Kathy (cop lady). We paused and rewound the DVR a few times last night and during the blackout, they showed Brendon and Andrew getting up. But they also had a shot of everyone on the couch in nightvision. AFter counting the number of people on the couches, we came up with 10. ANdrew was in that shot, it was before he got up. So that left Brendon and two others that weren't there - Monet and Kathy. If i had to pick, I would say Kathy because the had such a devious and guilty look on her face once the lights were back on when she was back on the couch.

See, I didn't find it all that original...it's basically the "America's Player" concept from a couple years ago recycled.


That being said, I originally thought the saboteur is either:
The Jewish guy
The MENSA guy
the bisexual chick
or the guy with a doctorate of communications


Then again, after the competition I thought it was that chick that hurt herself.

i thought the same thing, minus the bisexual chick (Annie)...

the jewish guy (andrew) seems like a clown, in keeping with the 'pranks' he would be pulling

^Agreed with the same people except the weiner chicks. The one that got injured, I replayed and it did look like her knee buckled. Surprised a little there wasn't a ligament tear. Plus by the end the weiner was slippery and some of those girls look like they have no athletic abilities at all.

I lean towards the Mensa guy or the Jewish guy. But who knows.

i think the same thing every season.

i think i'm not going to like the season at all because all the players suck. then, i get sucked in to it by the third episode. i'm just going to have to warm up to this bunch.

i also found the saboteur to be unoriginal. we've seen this before with eric (america's player). i believe the saboteur is the swim coach though.
