Its the single best beer I have ever tasted. Its extremely hard to find except at this one bar next to Fat Toney's in downtown Wilmington. 6/13/2010 2:56:04 PM |

I wonder if you'd feel its the 'single best beer' you have ever tasted if it was $4 instead of $16 6/13/2010 3:21:57 PM |

Not a beer snob.
Have a friend who is a major beer snob and I just happened to try this amazing beer when I went to this particular bar with him. Its amazing.
And no, the price means nothing. He also had me try a larger 45 dollar beer. Not nearly as good.
Not a fan of sediment either.

Quote : | "S: the sweet smell of buttery toffee comes through immediately, but this smell isn't overpowering or lingering.
T: Very sweet up front with a creamy caramel/toffee flavor with a raisin-y backdrop and ends with a sweet and only slightly more bitter boozy tingle.
M: Soft and velvety with more creamy viscosity than a normal amber-colored beer.
D: With an excellent mouthfeel and the mellow alcohol taste, this beer is all too drinkable. The only thing preventing me from drinking another one back-to-back is the somewhat cloying taste that just seems too much to repeat right away." |
Lame. Just buck a double shot of liquor and chase it with a liquor drink.
