Yeah so far Craigslist has been failing me over the past month. I'm really only interested in the regions bounded by St. Mary's, Peace Street, Blount, and Davie. There's exceptions to that obviously, but basically I want to be in that general vicinity.

If you know of anyone with a place they're trying to rent shoot me a message. I really don't want to spend more than $900 a month to rent since I'm trying to be slightly conservative here as there's other things going on in my life at the moment. I don't need a whole lot of space. Just really one bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Also I don't want to come home every day to something that looks like absolute hell on earth because the landlord doesn't feel like divesting anything I'm paying him into the appearance of the structure.

I have the ability to move in anywhere from as early as July 1st to as late as the beginning of August.

I don't think you can rent Downtown Raleigh, but you might be able to rent a place in there

To be honest, I'm kind of sick of roommates and living with people. I want just my own personal space for a while. $900 is really the upper limit of my range that I really care to spend. It would have to be in some ridiculous place for me to reconsider that. I'm trying to be slightly conservative, however it's apparently biting me in the ass when it comes to finding a place.

I've looked at some condos but the owners are pricing them well over my price range. I could afford them, but I really would be blowing more money than it's worth to me for a nice view of the skyline.

There was a really great listing I saw in a triplex converted house off Glenwood South, but I somehow missed it. Saw it yesterday and emailed the owner, but it had been snatched up already. REMOVE YOUR LISTINGS PEOPLES. I hate Craigslist so much at this point. /necessary-evil

There are tons of great 1BRs off Boylan. I pay $600 a month.

Which buildings are which here:

Their site says they currently have units available in A, F, and M. Does unit number also correspond to what floor the unit is on? Is there any rhyme/reason to the unit locations basically?

Thanks guys!

7 n. swain st. is available @ 850/mon - 4 br 2 story house - i know the guy that owns it, same guy that owns club envy lol

i should add that the houses across the street are renovated (pictures on google are OLD) and occupied by myself, and another white boy - we both have drums set up in our living rooms.

Definitely a little on the warm side, but not a bad bang for the buck at all. Got a friend over there as well.

I live right around the corner in Cameron Village Condominiums. My rent is right at 900 a month for 900 sq. ft. Downstairs is hardwood floors, and I got a washer/dryer stack. No dishwasher, though. But...on the other hand, my AC is cold as ice.
