Just got my car insurance renewal in the mail yesterday, and while I was expecting it to go down since I turn 25...it went up 200$. When I called and asked why they said it was because of increased number of claims made in my state. So...DAMN YOU PEOPLE! I know atleast some of you TWWers are responsible for this... 6/20/2010 4:24:47 PM |

Hey, it's not my fault that man was flying doing 60+ in a 45 over a blind hill and destroyed his company car...

you talking a 6 month premium or for the year? Either way I think there has to be something more going on beyond more claims in your state for that kind of increase as that is a hell of an increase. I agree with "Time to find a new insurance co."

The rest of TWW lives in NC and our insurance didn't go up $200. What would a reasonable person conclude?
Hint: It involves shopping around and it does not involve making threads on the internetz.

Everything is negotiable. Call them and negotiate your staying with their company as a loyal customer for your original rate. 6/21/2010 11:27:29 AM |
