demo is out - I actually like it. Seems like a good control and graphical improvement from previous versions. First time I can remember actual noticing some improvement

I'm still back at like '06 or something, mostly because I don't have a next gen console. The NCAA games would be a big factor in determining whether I ever get a next gen console but I've heard the NCAA Football series went downhill after the move to the 360/PS3.

I know they were working out all the kinks the first few years and I know those titles were missing game features that prior versions had - like race for the Heisman and some other presentation features. They ever address this?

Which is the best version out there for next gen consoles? Or maybe this one will be?

^found another deal that's comparable, though not the exact same. at walmart.com, you can preorder and they will give you a $20.00 e-credit by email. the kicker being that the $20.00 can only be used for online purchases. shipping was like .97, and tax around 3.60.

i did it, and turned around and ordered a $20.00 gift card to be sent to me, and paid using the e-credit. everything went through fine, and shipping was free on the gift card. might not be the exact same, but walmart cards are just like cash anyways. I'll just use mine to buy gas or something.

I agree with Jaybee about doing a different conference each year

However, this year I think we should do the Big 12 if we in fact have 12 members, simply because its the last year we'll be able to do so

Next year we can do the Pac 10 or big 10 with their new allignments




Also this year, you can do all recruiting online, so it should speed up the process as people can play their games at night and then do recruiting from work the next day

I'd be down to play in the league (and I was pretty reliable in the FIFA league until it eventually died out due to a few guys never playing any games) , but I will be doing a lot of travel/leave in July. I'm not sure how fast you guys usually play games.

Most people are good about getting thru the first season

This year, they've made all the bowls 1 week, instead of 3-4 weeks where you had for wait for someone to play the galleryfurniture.com bowl

I had a dream that I beat Jaybee by three touchdowns. He got real angry and was stomping around and throwing shit everywhere. I hadn't seen him that upset since he was at the midnight showing of Iron Man 2 at North Hills, and the manager did a trivia thing for prizes before the show. He asked which suit was the one with the triangle on it, and Jaybee answered Mark VI. He said this was wrong, and he called on someone else who said that the answer was the Mark IV. Jaybee was like WTF, I've been reading about this for almost 6 months now. The next day Jaybee went to Target and bought the Mark VI suit of the "Hall of Armor" toys which comes with the light up base and took it back to the theater. Jaybee politely introduced himself and explained that he felt like the answer last night was incorrect, so he showed the package to the manager who then claimed that the toy was wrong. Um... OK, so Marvel is gonna let Hasbro make millions of dollars of these toys and other merchandise and they're all labeled wrong? Jaybee then pulled out his phone and went to the Wikipedia page about it and showed him what it says about each of the suits in this movie and the manager claimed that it wasn't a credible source. So then Jaybee went to find production images and showed him the same image and pointed out that the Mark IV in the background still has the circular chestpiece. The manager claimed that since he had read the answer in a Marvel encyclopedia that he was correct and Jaybee was wrong. Ugh. If there wasn't a prize involved in this (which was free movie passes), he'd be content to let him continue to be wrong, but noooooooooooooo. Now Jaybee just can't let it go.
