Time for her to feel heat for the shit DD hire. If the basketball team under achieves this year, she probably should be shown the door too. Honestly football is all that really matters in college athletics anymore and for us to go two straight seasons as one of the worst teams in the power conferences, somebody has to be held accountable beyond the coach.

Seriously though, TOB hate and DD support are not mutually exclusive. TOB left DD with a bunch of shit players and DD is doing the best he can to get something out of them. He may fail in trying, but he's got my support for at least the rest of this season and half of next.

Yes it did. I never expected us to be completely outclassed by BC at home. That performance today was shameful. Their talent is no better than ours and they looked significantly better than we did.

So Debbie got an extension and a huge raise today...not trying to be too negative, but not quite sure how are we are doing so well she automatically gets this.

Wrestling had a national champion, Swimming/Diving did great, Gymnastics were solid, and Cross Country was good as always. Men's basketball of course made S16. Women in the NIT.

Soccer, volleyball, football all had losing ACC records. Baseball is losing, both tennis are ACC losing. Softball is in 5th place.

What about this year screams lock her up and give her a $174k raise? I like Deb so far, but is this too much?

She has done a good job, is well liked, and the negatives of losing an ad and the resulting search probably come pretty close to balancing out the raise.

In general I'm starting to realize what a joke our entire athletics department and wolfpack club administration must be.

You call over to the wolfpack club and it's some 20 year old intern who doesn't know shit and cant help at all, then they transfer you over to some mid-30's ex frat boy who is also useless and probably just there because of family connections or nepotism. Usually I have to leave a voicemail, I might get a call back about 50% of the time.

The constant bombardment of propaganda and emails is ridiculous. No other fan base in the ACC would put up with so many years of mediocrity, yet we all have a way of constantly buying into the bs and unwarranted hype each summer and fall before the fb and mbb seasons begin.

I'm tired of playing the damn game. I've purchased season tickets each year for fb since I graduated (10+ years now), and about half of the years for mbb. I don't know what I'm supporting any longer. I really don't. I walk by the damn indoor fb practice facility after losing to a team that hasn't won a conference game in two years and I'm just sickened.

i realize that most people only care about football and men's basketball and that's fair, but we've pretty much made improvements in every non-revenue sport, several in major ways
