You can try Tvduck.com
http://www.tvduck.com/Mad-Men.html

Has all the past episodes too

Edit: Sooooo I'd just recently heard of this site and I'm sorry if this is a dumb question for those that know, but it seems the majority of them take you to Netflix??? Anyone know?

They are showing marathons on AMC
Also running commercial stating that AT&T Uverse will not be carrying AMC and encouraging people to call them and demand that they pick up the channel

I'm a fan of the show. Although I don't think it's meant as an homage to how great the late fifties-early sixties were. I watch it and pick out how backward and ludicrous those times were.

The costumes and and mannerisms are entertaining but I don't think you'd want to live in those times especially being a woman TroopofEchos. No offense intended. Great show, I can't wait for the season premiere.

no offense taken!
I was more referring to the dapper men.
Yeah I don't really want to be stuck at a typewriter all day either and I don't think those days were really "good 'ole days" either. But it is fascinating to watch and notice all the details. I get absorbed in the atmosphere was really what I meant.

WOOT WOOT!

I don't get a cable so I'ma have to watch it on my parents' DVR probably.

I wish there was a bar that would feature this show.

Or that I had cool friends with good tastes in television.

Season opener was good but not great.

*Spoiler*

Don seems to be losing it a bit. Blowing up at customers, employees, house keepers. Blowing up @ everyone except the one person he wants to blow up at--his wife. I don't know if its self-pity or self-loathing. In any case, the scene where he gets smacked around by a hooker was kinda creepy.

One worry for the future. If 71% of their business is now coming from Lucky Strike, that could mean big trouble when the Surgeon General report comes out later "this year" (1964) showing that smoking causes cancer. Heck, maybe it could save their business??? "We need to put a positive face on this thing, Don!!! So we're going to double our ad budget!!" Eager to see how that unfolds.

And my wife brought up a good point. Why the fuck are Peggy and Pete on speaking terms??? Maybe they are just kicking in 1950s style and just ignoring the baby elephant in the room.

*Spoiler Con't*

Oh wow I didn't know the SG thing came out that year . . although I thought they already discussed that in the first season? I can't remember. Will be interesting to see how/if that plays out.

Not real sure what's up with Peggy and Pete either - they skip so far ahead between seasons that it's hard to settle back into just wtf is going on.

The hooker scene was pretty creepy I agree. Who the hell is that guy that works with Peggy? Are they like BFF now?

Betty Draper is being such a spoiled brat. Not that she wasn't before, but her poor kids. I loved that dig the Mayor's mother threw at her son "I know what you see in her, although you could have gotten that without marrying her" Ha!
Wonder how Don and this new chick (Jane's friend) are going to play out, if at all. . .

I'm hoping that they will show what's going on at the old office - Cosgrove and Kinsey

^ Ditto on hoping to see Cosgrove and Kinsey again. I am fairly certain Cosgrove is going to make his way back into the series at some point because he has shown up in the promotional material on AMC's website and the actor's name showed up in the opening credits last night. So I am assuming that means Kinsey will also be back in a few episodes. I hope so anyways. He was prob my favorite non-lead character.

Anyone else notice Don writing in symbols while he was talking to the Ad Age reporter? Download it to rewatch it last night and I was able to pause it. Really weird, no letters or numbers, just a bunch of random crap that he was writing out pretty fast.

^shorthand. It was pretty widely taught in the 50's/60's. I worked at the General Assembly and the senator's 70 year old Legislative assistant took all her notes like that. Pretty accurate for the time.

wow, if this is Christmas in 1964 I guess that means they decided to ignore the surgeon general's report on smoking (which came out in Jan of '64). Too bad. That would have been interesting.

I'm surprised to see Glenn go all "Rebel without a cause". Should be neat though.

I predict the show will jump the shark and the creators will try to salvage it with more scenes of Joan showing cleavage.

The first episode of the season had a few elements lacking but I suspect the purpose of that episode was to show the vulnerabilities of Don.

I'm guessing the key things to take away from the second episode were the comments made to Don by that one lady "you'll be married in a year. guess people don't like to think they're a type" and the overall dysfunction of the office and the lives of those in it. Many clips from these first two episodes will show as the last time on mad men opener and will serve as the foundation for some pivotal things later in the season.
