I got tired of bumping the Matt Hill or Tim Clark threads so I decided to make an all-inclusive one.

Carl had a great round today shooting 65; best score in the 3rd round. He's 6 under overall and three shots off of Justin Rose, who's still on the course.

After a quick glance at pgatour.com, these are the guys we have on the tour right now:

Tim Clark
Matt Hill
Garth Mulroy
Carl Pettersson
Marc Turnesa

Mulroy has also played on the Nationwide Tour this year with Chris Mundorf

Carl finishes 1 over on the day and 6th place overall. Disappointing round but he'll probably still pull in $150k+

btw, pettersson ended up making 223k for his 6th place finish last week.

you don't get an oversized check for 6th place, but i don't think he'll complain.

it may be farfetched, but if stricker can birdie 4 of the last 5 holes, he can shoot a 59 too. farfetched but goydos pulled off that stretch today.

[Edited on July 8, 2010 at 5:29 PM. Reason : just pared 14 guess he's going to have to hit 4 out of 4 ]

stricker ended up with birdies on the last three holes winding up with a 60... crazy.

anyways, back to our guys.

T55 Mulroy -2
T82 Pettersson -1
T104 Clark E

needless to say, they all have to shoot well tomorrow to make the cut.

Petterson opens with back-to-back birdies. Garth just teed off on the back 9. Can't imagine starting the day with a 600 yd. Par 5.

Tim shot a 66 which puts him at 5-under and into weekend play.

Carl and Garth are at 2-under but below the projected cut line (Garth is still on the course with 4 holes left).

Matt Hill shot 69-68 at -6 right on the cut line at the Nationwide Tour Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic. That's a guarantee for his first professional paycheck.

^good spot, hadn't thought of checking there. apparently mundorf was in that tourney too but didn't make the cut.

tim shot well today. 5-under round puts him at -10... but still 9 strokes off the lead and stricker has 9 holes left to play

Congrats to Tim for shooting -5 again today which made him -15 for the tourney, good for a tie of 7th.

Matt Hill finished -11 in the Wayne Gretzky Classic on the Nationwide Tour good enough for a tie of 36th.

Tim earns $137k this weekend bringing his total on the year to almost 3 mil.

Matt Hill brings in a meager $4k. No doubt he'll have more pay days on his way.

Carl rimmed out a putt from off the green that would have given him a 59. Course and tournament record isn't too bad though.

Carl is 9 shots off the lead going into today. Jeff Overton has a four stroke lead over 2nd place Boo Weekley.

Garth missed the cut by one shot.

Also, Turnesa and Mundorf were cut from their nationwide event.
