list 'em here

i just realized an unfortunate plot hole to one great movie, the usual suspects
kaiser sose went through all the trouble during the movie to kill the man that could identify him, but in doing so he exposed to the police his face and his identity which they put together after he left

did he know that the cop would figure it out? if so that would be a major plot hole

Lol explain how he figured out anything other than he had been fed a pile of bullshit the entire time. This is my all time favorite movie by the way, I'm 100% sure that I have an embarrassing and lame amount of knowledge on the flick. He would have only realized who he had really been dealing with after he came back inside and saw the police sketch.

In the final scene he was seeing flashes of what truly happened, which included verbal kint as the shooter on teh boat, which meant he was kaiser sose

i may be verbal kint in chit chat, but im keiser sose in the entertainment section.

In Transformers 2 they are fighting in the air & space museum in DC, they go outside and suddenly they are in Arizona. That's probably the worst one I can think of.

John Connor and Skynet are basically illegitimate child brothers of a time travel paradox.

Neither should exist. John Connor exists because he sent his own father back in time to bwn Sarah Connor, but why did he exist in the first timeline?

And why did judgement day happen in the first timeline? Skynet only exists because the scientists found the chip or arm or whatever from The Terminator, which they themselves sent back in time.

So basically in the first timeline there should have been no Skynet, no judgement day, and no John Connor to send his father back to ensure his birth.

I am babbling.

In Citizen Kane, Kane dies alone in his mansion and the reporter tries to figure out the meaning of "rosebud."

BUT if he died alone, how does anyone know what his last words were???

At the end of the film, we see Edward carving ice sculptures in his mansion. How did he get the ice up there? First of all, it takes place in a warm climate and I didn't see a freezer up there in the castle. He couldn't have gotten ice from town because firstly he had scissors for hands and couldn't have gripped the ice. And, even if by some miracle he could, he wouldn't be able to buy any from town because everyone in town but Kim was convinced that Edward was a killer, so they wouldn't have let him in their shop without calling the police. And Kim didn't bring it to him because she told her granddaughter in the end that she never saw him again after that night. So where did he get that ice?

^^^ we the viewer, and the detective for that matter, don't know what all happened for certain. The only thing we know, like the detective, is that he made the story up based on the stuff he saw around the room. We have no real idea of how much of it is true, somewhat true, or complete bullshit.

There is no plot hole. He was just playing along until he could leave the police station. The guy surviving was a complete accident.

Pretty much any plot dealing with time travel is a plot hole.

However, it is possible that in the original timeline, AI, Judgement Day, etc were going to happen independently of Cyberdine and the chip. The arm and the chip may have altered history relative to the future (so to speak) and simply made it happen differently or sooner.

I think what's even dumber was in the last one, when the robots knew they had Kyle Reese they didn't just off him right then and there.

Eh not really. But either way it's not possible for john connor to happen independent of kyle reese.

and john connor being the one to save reese from the wherever in the shitty shitty t4 fucks that up even more.

Not to take anything away from the movies. (except the fourth)

^^^ As to that I always wondered that same thing...though I noticed that Old biff when he returns is clutching his chest as he stumbles out of the delorian...I always just assumed it was like a ripple principal like in BTTF1 where Martie's brother and sister faded away before he did. So I guess he made it back in time before the "ripple" or alternate reality caught up with him...

Then again...its time travel

In response to the OP, I think the point of the end was to make you think whether or not the cop knew he was kaiser sose. Just watching it again, nothing, other than the dramatic coffee drop, suggests he knew he was kaiser sose. He just knew the dude was full of shit and just came up with a story to waste 2 hrs so he could walk.

^i really cant believe i have to explain this to you guys

think about it, everyone thinks verbal kint is stupid and naive which is why everyone uses him, but the cop realizes not only is he not stupid and naive but he's some kind of super genius that can toy with a smart and experienced cop like himself for 2 hours
this means he is smarter than dean or any one of the usual suspects which means he has to be the only one smart enough to pull of what he though dean keaton did
the flashes were to show what the cop was thinking and he realized that kint is the shooter and kint is sose
the cop is smart enough to figure that out, even if you bozos cant
