i accidentally locked my cell phone and forgot the code. it has a sim card and i was wondering if there is a way to reset the phone? and is the sim card also locked or can i put it in another phone?

You have tried the last 4 of your phone number, right?

the lock code is either the default for the phone (0000 or 1234 or something similar) or the last 4 of your phone number (as mentioned above)

try your phone number and if that doesn't work, check your manual or google your phone model to get the default code
