So, I ended up seeing this movie this weekend...though I'm not much of a Tom Cruise fan, I gave it a shot.

It wasn't anything mind blowing or awesome, but it was a pretty entertaining summer flick. I enjoyed it for the most part being that I went in it with no idea what the movie was about other than it was a lot of action.

wasn't this a box office bomb?

It looked completely recycled. I have no desire to see it.

Yup...did pretty shatty. Was more entertaining than I thought it would have been. Cameron Diaz can still get it.

There wasn't shit I wanted to see yesterday, so I saw it.

Entertaining. That's about it and that's about what I was expecting. Tom Cruise always plays a good secret agent and Diaz was looking pretty hot. Would much rather see these two than Heigl and Kutcher in the same movie.

saw it with the girlfriend....compromise between Twilight and Get Him to the Greek.

I actually found it funny. It's formulaic and campy, but it's still fun and the pace is quick and light. I hate Tom Cruise with a passion and he looked like he was in pain every time he had to kiss Cameron Diaz (oh the horror!), but other than that, his character was actually entertaining.

Movie snobs will hate it, but it's a good, action-filled, rom-com.

***SPOILER ALERT***

At the end of the movie Tom Cruise has a romantic evening with Penelope Cruz. When Cameron Diaz discovers this, she becomes enraged with jealousy; after offering Cruise a ride, she purposely crashes her car over a bridge. Diaz dies, while Cruise suffers from significant facial dis-figuration, and uses a mask to hide it. Cruise tries to continue to see Cruz, but after getting overly intoxicated at a bar and falling asleep in a puddle on the street outside it, she leaves with Jason Lee.

it's not basically mission impossible four, it's a lot sillier.

if tom cruise wasn't in this, the connection would not be made at all. there are billions of spy films.

I'm actually excited about MI:4 since Brad Bird is directing. I'm very interested to see how his foray into non-animated features will go.
