^ Yeah, but you had to get a little dig in, didn't you. FTR, the Diddley Bo is a makeshift instrument that Seasick Steve plays.

And considering that the Diddley Bo is nothing more than a 2x4 with a broom wire attached to it, I'd say that Seasick Steve makes pretty damned good use of it and of his other homemade instruments. I mean, the songs are good and they got him on international TV.

^ Relatively speaking, the instrument is, in fact, not all that common. Perhaps you could list for us all the examples of it on recording in recent decades. And I'll wager that there are many here who have never heard of or seen the instrument before watching these videos--but they probably won't admit it.
