This class was M-100, a pass-fail, 50 minute, once a week class and the assignment was where you had to visit 2 culture events, or something like that, and do a short write up. The English was still really terrible, but all he really had to do was turn it in and get credit.

The Steve Blake "Happy Time at Johnny Rockets" essay is on about the same level. This is mercifully short.

Still, there's no way this is dumber than some of the guys that played for our team from around 1996-2001. There used to be a good thread on here of stories about those guys, like one where Ron Kelly was spotted drunk and kicking a can down Brent Rd. at like 4am the day of a game.
