Dell d620 Xp pro
most of the services which should start after booting aren't starting. Services shows they are disabled and it won't let me enable or start them. Normal startup is selected under msconfig. also nothing is showing up under device manager
help?

sfc /scannow
and install updates when done.

Thanks will run the scan. Can't update since no services are running (including networking services). I did run a chkdsk earlier and nothing came of that
