Make sure you at least watch the first video because it's neat to see the test environments before they add player models. Looks like they're focusing on creating a bigger gap in talent between the elite and average players. Pro Passing also replaces the "ping-pong" passing of older editions. Ordering through Gamestop gives you access to the creation stuff earlier (Why do developers make these deals with them?).

So it looks like people who pre-order from game stop get to use the creation center a full month before everyone else. That sucks, but how much can you really create after a while?

the guy on the ea website finished up his first season. not anything groundbreaking but here are some notes:

-It looks big transfers go through more easily than last year with Inter signing Nasri

-Injuries can hold people out for longer than a week. I don't think I ever had a player out for more than a week and it was always something weak like whiplash. Anyways, one of his guys was out for 31 days.

-You can follow the league tables of the other leagues, which I guess is nice, but ehh...

Yeah, I always wondered why they had generic names for the tournaments, instead of calling them by their actual names. Why call it European Cup when it's obviously supposed to be the Champions League? They've only had 18 years to catch up with the name change.

Also, there's an update about the virtual pro system for this year. It hasn't changed much other than the number of accomplishments available and distinct style of play for your position. Anyone do gameface last year? Mine turned out pretty good.

PKs are hard as hell to make.

I missed everyone of them while my opponent netted two. You have to time your shot with a moving bar that doesn't stop exactly where you want it to. Basically all my shot ended up no where near the goal.

I couldn't find anything official but I don't know why they wouldn't. If I'm not mistaken, the last two versions came out the next February after the release date so they have a lot of time to finish/announce it.

Passing is a lot harder in this game. Started a career mode in League 2 and the poor players struggle with long passes. If you aren't in a good position to pass, they're going to get picked off. Also, headers occur more frequently which is nice. My virtual pro has two already and I think that was the total number I had for last year.

On PS3, my game has stalled 3 times now on start up where it doesn't load the trophies correctly which makes me unable to do anything other than bring up the PS menu and quit the game.

Wow, quite an improvement in the manual control options. I did semi last year with passing and crossing but in '11 it's quite impressive the feel you get. Going to be quite a learning curve though.

I find defense to be way easier, though i've been playing almost all online so i could just be getting people who suck at offense. I know that i'm terrible at midfield offense, but i've got a pretty good shooting range with most teams. Is there a way to save your online squads? 40 seconds is not enough to change a formation and get the best players out of reserves. Like seriously... Buffon in the reserves?
