Was at the game in Davidson. Davidson scored in the 27th minute on a chip pass to a very fast forward. We played formations with about 5-6 freshmen on the field the whole game, subbed a lot, and didn't even wear our regular jerseys. In the end, State almost scored on a long throw in with under 10 sec left, but it was deflected away from the goal. Should see improvement against High Point getting ready for the regular season.

i'll have videos of the full games (maybe highlights in some cases too) up for this year, men's and women's, although it won't be as many or the games I really want to do...

"GoPack All-Access" (the new name for Pack Pass) and their new production truck/center will be covering a great deal of games (probably with a lot better coverage compared to Pack Pass) and the games that they do we cannot do.

Was planning on doing the game tonight but the help fell through, but look for some game video here in this thread.

Pack "won" 3-2. Got up 3-0 and let up allowing a PK goal and a goal off a corner. Start of the regular season is next week vs Sacramento State and Louisville in Durham.

We always do the left, right stuff for any goalie, but we added the military references since it was VMI. The main group that heckles is a bunch of freshmen.

we are only allowed to do games that Pack Pass (now called GoPack All Access) does not do -- if they do it, WolfBytes gets the footage from that game and is allowed to put it up on the campus cable station, channel 92, but it can't be put up online. It may be in the GoPack All Access archives, but seeing as they can't do replay it probably won't be visible, if at all.

That commentator totally needs a color man and maybe a script. There's not much flow to his calling.

The video is not too bad for what you have to work with. I get what you're trying to do with the zoom, but it might be a bit much. You lose focus of the play too much.

It's cool that you guys are covering this stuff though.

there is no reason state shouldn't be able to compete on the national level year in, year out. north carolina has the best youth soccer programs in the country, and with the success unc and wake have had with homegrown talent, there is no excuse.
