Scary Movie 3 is good.

scary movie two is horrible and i have never understood why people like it

one is fine i guess, but i've always had a problem with the fact that it is mainly spoofing a movie which is partly a spoof itself. (from what i remember?)

three is legit good. people hate on it for no reason. it is funny as fuck OK.

i have the opposite opinion. 2 spoofed a lot of movies that were big when i was growing up so i enjoyed it. it is over the top but maintains the perverse, but still silly feeling of the original.

3 was alright, but i didnt really enjoy it. i bet people like it because it is more like the spoofs of the past. less gross out and more off the wall silly if you will. its really just a preference as far as im concerned.

Scary Movie 3 was low-brow, pretty dumb comedy. didn't like it

i don't remember the second one but i lol'd my ass off at the first. i was also pretty young when i saw it so i'm sure it wouldn't hold up today

I think the old ones are so good because, for the most part, is that the humor doesn't derive from very specific parodies. I have no idea what film or story airplane! spoofs, but it's still hilarious. The original Naked Gun includes a bunch of references I don't get, but it's still funny.

But even if "Vampires Suck" were funny, it would have a shelf-life of about 15 minutes. An eight year old right now who sees this movie in five years will (rightfully) think that it's gibberish. Come to that, from the previews I think it's gibberish right now. I started losing touch with large sections of teenage pop culture years ago.

Not Another Teen Movie has nothing to do with Jason Friedberg and Adam Seltzer.

I like NATM, it's far better than the Epic Movie stuff, but nowhere near Airplane.
