I'm working on an idea for a webpage. I've had a programmer help me out and I have it about 80% done, but I need it to be 100% prior to marketing.
The page is written in php and java and will interface with twitter and facebook. I'm not a programmer, so I don't a lot about the code, but I have the webspace, etc and the site is working now, it just needs completion. It's not terribly big so going behind another person should not be a big deal. Let me know if you're interested and we'll talk about terms and compensation. Thanks. 8/27/2010 10:23:26 PM |

completing someone else's half-hatched code can be more of a nightmare than just starting from scratch. it very well may not be bad at all, but it's just something to keep in mind. 8/27/2010 11:49:26 PM |

There is no way someone would do this in real life. Surely you mean Javascript and not Java. Right?

Join the bandwagon!!!

It's not the size that matters ....And I'm not trying to make a joke here

You really should let the developer tell you what the big deal is. Unless you want a professional career in being a poor program manager.

This should always be up front and NEVER change to the detriment of the developer. Or you'll end up with an 80% completed project that needs to be 100% prior to marketin... oh... I see...8/28/2010 12:23:58 AM |

java, javascript, i dont know that's why i want a programmer. All those things considered, previous programmer started back to school with 18 hours and didn't want something else to think about. Size, deal, and compensation - I dont know that either, that's why we are going to talk about it. I'm not going to lay it all out in a thread on the wolf web. Based on the limited detail I provided I was expecting someone to ask those questions. 8/28/2010 3:59:39 AM |

it would be cool if it used Java and downloaded all your tweets, Facebook status updates, and photos to some folder on your computer 8/29/2010 11:33:48 AM |
