As we're into the second round, I figured I'd start this.

Melanie Oudin is down 5-2 in her second round match with Alona Bondarenko despite Bondarenko failing to hit a winner.

Eep.

I still can't believe that Dustin Johnson grounded his club in the sand on the 18th in the PGA. He could had 2 majors this year with just a couple breaks.

I can't believe that people call golf a sport when it involves no direct competition.

speaking of golf, the US Open is at Congressional next year. Might get some tickets and ride up for that...

after fighting back to 5-4 in the second, finding her range, and getting the crowd behind her, oudin lost the final twelve points in falling to bondarenko

*sigh*

at wozniaki last night, it looks like she lost about ten pounds and is now at her peak hot potential, she looked like kournikova with bigger tits

anyhow, clisters still has to be the favorite, caroline is a little overrated at number one but she is playing better than ever before, it's also interesting ana ivanovic is actually playing well so far finally; I'd like to see her make a run, sharapova I'm not sure how she's looked but she is a former champion

ah well the media is prob going to wonder now if roddick is in the twilight of his career because 28 for some reason is old for tennis, I think he'll come back strong next yr though and play at his peak for a couple of yrs, he was really playing better than ever going in to that wimbledon against federer

Jesus Christ, Roddick. Good summer, buddy.

And Blake is 30 and has no chance, but I'll be watching him.

[Edited on September 2, 2010 at 9:22 AM. Reason : wozniacki was my rooting interest last year]

Look, mono is rough. Federer struggled with it recently too and it took him a while to get back to form. You could just tell that Rodick had a lot less pace on his ground strokes than he was having prior to catching it.

^ yeah, but he's a surprise to be in the 3rd round. Who knows though, when his serve is on, he can challenge everyone with his return game.

I was at opening night. Federer's trademark through the legs shot was pretty amazing. The stadium absolutely erupted.

isner's not bad but I hope we aren't just stuck watching him stand around and drill aces all match for the future of american tennis, I'm not sure I could see him winning a major

ivanovic won, this is the first time I've cared about the women's game all yr, everyone but venus and serena really sucked for like two years but with ana, maria, clisters, wozniaki coming on strong, (henin too perhaps) hopefully there's enough competition now to hold my interest

My money is on Caroline. Maria has a more aggressive game, but Caroline is so patient and calm that it will frustrate Maria and cause her to make more mistakes. Either way this will be the MUST SEE hottie match of the tournament!

wozniaki looks like she know she's hotter than ever and is wearing something to match, it's tragedy her and maria have to meet before the final

on the men's side it would be very interesting if nadal and fed met in the finals, we've seen this on the other surfaces but no one knows what to expect this time around

I saw that Ana Ivanovic lost today (to Klijsters so it was expected).

I'm rooting for Isner on the mens side now and, of course, Rafa...
