I use this one all the time. But I got it from my dad, and we are from PA. So it's not technically a country saying

I've been to PA; it's got its share of country

I've hit a block...I'm trying to channel my godmother as she was the queen of sayings, but it ain't comin to me :/
Some were just hers though...she's the only one I knew that said, "gonna have to call ole Roy Jones"

This may or may not be country, but it got thrown around a bit when my mother felt like being snarky:

"Wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which ones fills up first."

using "wide open" as an adjective to describe a kid/person

I still don't quite understand that one.

My dad always said "directly" as if it were a time. And I've caught myself doing a few times.

"I'm just going up the road a bit. I'll be back directly"

Also I say "fixing" a lot. "I'm fixing to go the store, does anyone need anything?"

There's several more that I'm not remembering at the moment. My grandma uses these southern-isms, or whatever you want to call them, all the time. And I pick them up from her and my dad. Then there are some (like "honey") that I never realized were country/southern phrases until I ventured out in the world.

Remember a few:
My grandma always says "study". She uses it like the word "think" kind of. "I didn't know what was wrong with the TV, so I studied that I must have hit a button on the remote"
She also says "aim to". "Are you going to the grocery store today?" "I aim to".
I've always heard "fitting" as an adjective a lot, meaning good. "How was dinner?" "It was fitting" (different from saying "how fitting" or something like that)

"after a while" or "in a little bit" in reference to time
