IOP1. I think this will be a high scoring game. I am a wary about us being able to win on the road, especially outside the state of NC. Hopefully the defense will make a few plays and we'll win going away, but I predict a close, high scoring affair.

BDubs I flipped over to the CBS College Sports channel and it gave me the normal blue screen that says you aren't subscribed to this channel.

Below that, it said the sports/games tier was available for purchase for $2.25 and press the blue "Select" button to purchase. It took about 10 seconds then all the channels were available. I'm in the Charlotte area and have a brand new box as well. I don't know if those have any factor in it being available on-screen.

UCF has a very good defense. VERY GOOD.

Their offense is crap.

So State's Offense vs. UCF's defense will be the match up.

State should win the special teams and beat UCF by around 13 or whatever.

At times our defense will look stout, but the rest of the time they'll look completely terrible. I have a lot of faith in our offense.

i am not renewing my season tickets next year. this is a joke. i cannot justify spending $120 (w/ parking) on 2 tickets for each of those games, and it sucks. i was going to make the move to lifetime rights but i cannot justify spending the money on shit games that i can get tickets for $10 for outside the gate.

while i realize its painfully obvious to win EVERY game, this UCF game is huge. Cincinnati has just lost one of their best WR's, only had 15yds rushing against fresno, and could NOT stop fresno state passing, is that a recipe for a win or what? They've got one more tuneup before we play them, but tuneups usually hurt you in the long run since what you need to work on isn't exposed.

Come on STATE!!!! Serious Chance to start 3-0.

Also, from the way Clempson looked in their opener, and the overall downness of the Atlantic Div this year, we could conceivably finish 2nd in our division but I think we can beat FSU and win our division, i see it peoples (kool aid buzz).

After cinci though, whew, GT and VT back to back but VT is home at least.

haha, yea i mean its something to consider. i just cant see myself buying the lifetime rights and then selling tickets for crap games for whatever. its almost like, if im going to get lifetime rights, then by god im going to sit in my seat for every game.

also, ^^...clemson looked pretty solid offensively despite the loss of CJ. first time with 2 100+ yd rushers in a while. i know its North Texas, but thats a positive sign for a team looking to fill such huges shoes.

ACC Atlantic, and the ACC overall, i think, will have a real solid year

I still have my doubts about our defense. The only look at UFC so far this season is last week's game against South Dakota. Here's a few highlights:

Those 472 yards were split almost right down the middle, 241 passing 231 rushing. 13 yard average per completion, 5 yards average per rush. 70% 3rd down conversion.

Way before the season started I had us down for a loss in this game. Here's to hoping our defense holds against a better opponent.

It was wrapped up when he made the tackle on the opening kickoff. It wasn't something he injured during the game.

i can't put a lot of stock into them beating South Dakota. I look at it like we were supposed to Beat WCU handily, and we did, they were probably supposed to do the same thing and did.
