started pretty slow but I think they were just opening up the story lines for the season. Really picked up in the end. I think it woke Jax up and heads will begin to roll. Rest of the season highlights look pretty awesome!

Man that whole episode was pretty meh. I wasn't paying much attention at all, then when the music started playing at the end I was like shits bout to go down and boom. I am sort of bummed that they killed the cop, I liked his character but I guess it will set up his brother going against Samcro now.

I didn't see the teaser for this weeks episode, but they often edit them in a misleading manner so I wouldn't necessarily put much stock in that. It certainly could be the Mayans or a Zobelle loyalist who stuck around.

So i'm three episodes behind. I plan to catch up this weekend. The first half of the season was slightly disappointing, but that being said it's still better than 80% of what is on TV. I've heard great things about the past few episodes upon arriving in Belfast so i am looking forward to catching up. This show is usually must see TV tuesdays at 10 but lately i've not had the care to watch so i hope watching 3 in a row get me back into it.

yeah they took WAY too long to get to Belfast, but the Belfast episodes are better even though the whole IRA/SAMBEL storyline feels inorganic like you can see the writers pulling the strings in front of you.

yeah this show has gone off the rails this season, just seems like one inane crisis after another. I was expecting Tara to have a miscarriage, which they thankfully didn't do but I guess there's still time.

a decent finale. I fell asleep for about 15 minutes in the middle so hopefully i didnt miss anything major. I think the end was the right move though as it will allow the writers to move ahead a little into the future as the first three seasons only took place in the span of a couple months in the show's world. also good to see stahl and jimmy O gone.

The ending was somewhat predictable, but I honestly thought it was an awesome finale.

And getting to see Opie exact his revenge for Donna was a moment that made me way giddier than a grown man should be.

I have a feeling that the next season is going to be the end. They have set it up very well for there to be a rift in the club, Jax v Clay. The show will conclude with Jax killing Clay in retribution for killing John Teller, and disbanding the Sons.

for the first part, Opie already knows it was a club order that got Donna killed. Thus he has to know Clay was behind that.


as for your second comment, Kurt Sutter has mentioned several times that he has a full circle story that will be completely told in 7 seasons and that would be the end. At this moment I see nothing standing in his way to be able to tell the full arc that he has masterminded. Season 3 was weaker, but he's also commented that he knows that so I think season 4 will be a big bounce back.

I thought the finale was a pretty satisfying end to a disappointing season...and while I enjoyed seeing Stahl getting her brains blown out by Opie it wasn't satisfying in the way Kurt Sutter intended it to be since she really wasn't the one responsible for Donna's murder. Apparently the guy Otto met with in prison is a legendary Hell's Angel IRL (Sonny Barger) so that was kind of cool.

Really? Just based on his tweets it seems like he's been unabashedly proud of this season, even going so far as berating people who criticized it (Alan Sepinwall amongst others).

i think what i was trying to say is that he knows that the season was viewed as weak by the viewers and critics...i don't expect him to turn his back on this season and agree (yet) but I also don't think he'll make a similar mistake again. i agree, you are correct in that he's defended this season almost to a fault, but i would expect any writer to defend their works all while growing from the criticisms.



now i'm just sad we have to wait 8 more months.

Damn. I just watched all three seasons in about 2 weeks... this season started off slowly but i thoroughly enjoyed the season. Season 3 finale was phenomenal.

The "big surprise" though with the whole "oh maybe clay and peg bundy killed jax's dad" wasn't much of a surprise.

Other than that, they wrapped up a bunch of shit pretty well. This is my new favorite show... sucks there are only 13 episodes a year
