The rest of my paint is fine, but when i wrecked a couple years back, they didn't give my hood the best attentions. it's oxidized beyond polishing, where can i get it painted decently well for a fair rate? PS- it's black and i can remove the hood if it makes it cheaper

Most decent pody shops warranty their work. In most cases your insurance company will warranty it if you went through them and used one of their recommended shops for the work. Have you checked those options?

it was warrantied for 5 years, and right around 5.5 yrs it started having issues.
