New show on Cartoon Network, by the same guy who brought us Samurai Jack.

I really like it. I'm not sure I like the heavy incorporation of cgi, but beyond that the art direction is spot on. The plot of each episode will probably be formulaic (new monster appears, protagonists summon giant gundam thing and find a way to kill it, rinse and repeat), but I want to see where it goes.

Didn't know it was by Genndy Tartakovsky. But I can see it now that you mention it. He's talented but one thing I don't like at all in his action shows is the complete lack of music, or even background noise. There's only dialog and sound effects, otherwise it's dead silent.

I only saw the second episode, it was kind of cool. I like Brian Posehn's character.
