Is there any way to see if/when someone in NC has changed their political party affiliation?

Thanks, for the link. I already ran the search on the SBOE site and came up with the current affiliation. I figure that Ill probably have to call them tomorrow and request any party changes.

Have you tried asking the person in question? Whats the back story on needing to know changes?

i'm thinking it has to be more complex than that, since he's looking at past history. i mean political parties aren't very strict orthodox, they gladly take converts.

if it was simple as that, the letter by the name now (D or R) would be all that really matters.

Wow.

I just did that search of my last name in FL and found three entries, two of my grandmother.

She died in January.

I haven't asked the person in question since I don't know them personally. A family member of mine asked if it was possible to corroborate a person's statements of changing parties and for some reason I thought that it would be fairly easy to find on the net.

Haha, no on both counts.

I changed to unaffiliated when I changed my address

so I can feel like I matter when they talk about a candidate going after those undecideds
